Straight in the middle of the Ötztal there is Längenfeld, located on a broad plain. 20 km of luscious green, framed by the reddish granite of the mountains and the deep blue of the sky. A romantic landscape which wants to be conquered - the typical spirit of Tyrol. The surroundings of Längenfeld invite to long walks across the green meadows. Or enjoy breathtaking hiking tours for all difficulty levels in the surrounding mountains. About 100 km of running trails, 80 km biking routes and 150 km hiking routes offer a wide range of activities for young and old. Numerous alps and huts invite to take a rest. For all climbing enthusiasts there are more than 200 climbing routes and two different via ferratas. In Gries, which is located above Längenfeld, you may find ease and recreation in the fresh moutain's air. Enjoy the fantastic mountain view. Walk across the woods, the green meadows and along the rolling rivers. Take a rest at one of the alps and huts and enjoy a traditional Tyrolean meal.
